Uponor Slab Heating Pipe Work
Nissl Heating is an authorised Uponor installer.
All Nissl Hydronic heating systems are installed using genuine Uponor piping systems.
All Uponor slab heating pipe is PEX-A rated (oxygen barrier for system longevity) and is covered by a 30 year manufacturer’s warranty.
In-slab Piping System
The piping is tied to structural reinforcing bar and laid prior to pouring the slab.
In Screed Piping System
Thermal insulation matting is placed on top of the structural concrete.
The pipework is then fixed into the matting and finished in an additional layer of screed concrete.
Minitec Piping System
Pipe Matting is placed on top of the structural concrete (no thermal properties).
The pipework is then fixed into the matting and finished in an additional layer of screed concrete.
Diffusion Plate System
Aluminium plates are fixed to the top of wooden floor joist (insulation recommended, installed by others).
The pipework is then fixed into the plates and then timber flooring is finished above.
